Roast pork ap with ples

- Necessary accessories: rosette, stone


- 1 kg of roast pork

- 2 tablespoons of liquid honey

- 60 g butter

- 3 medium onions

- 2 organic apples

- 2 cloves of garlic

- 800 g potatoes

- a few sage and thyme leaves

- salt and pepper


Prepare the outdoor grill with the rosette and the stone. Raise the temperature to 180°C.

In an Augoust ovenproof dish, brush the pork roast with the honey and place the butter in small pieces on top. Season with salt. Place in the oven for 10 minutes.

In the meantime, peel the onions and potatoes and cut them into 4 pieces. Peel the garlic cloves and leave them whole. Pour the equivalent of a glass of water into the dish and place the vegetables in the dish: mix them well to coat them with the butter/honey mixture; add the sage and thyme. Season with salt. Return to the oven and cook for about 30 minutes, basting often. Add a little water to the pan if necessary during cooking.

Cut the apples into quarters, remove the core and place them in the dish with the vegetables. Continue cooking for about 20 minutes, still at 180°C, until the meat is cooked through. Season with pepper when serving.
